Troubleshooting methods of lithium battery:
1. What if the battery/battery pack fails to charge?
1) Check whether the battery or battery pack is a zero-voltage battery with high internal resistance;
2) Check whether the connection of battery pack, electronic components and protection circuit is abnormal;
3) Check whether the charging equipment or charging circuit has charging voltage/current output in charging state;
4) Whether the ambient temperature is too high to cause low charging efficiency.
Methods:
1) Understand customers' specific use and conditions of batteries;
2) Take the same type of battery and multimeter (current) in series to charge the circuit, and judge whether the charging equipment is normal according to the charging current value;
3) Repeated analysis and processing of single cell's zero-voltage step;
4) Customers are advised to choose charging equipment or charging circuit with better stability and performance.
2. What if the battery/battery string fails to discharge?
Symptom: The device does not work after charging, and the open-circuit voltage of the battery pack does not change or does not change much.
1) Check whether the battery/battery pack has zero voltage and high internal resistance batteries;
2) Whether the electronic components and protection circuit inside the battery pack are damaged;
3) Check whether the discharge circuit of the equipment is normal;
4) Whether the pole lug is broken, forming a circuit break.
Methods:
1) Connect the device to a fully charged battery/battery pack of the same type to check whether the device works normally;
2) Use a multimeter to check whether the electronic components and protection circuit inside the battery are normal.
3) Repeated analysis and processing of single cell's zero-voltage step;
4) If the electrical discharge circuit is abnormal, the customer is advised to repair and replace the electrical appliances in time;
5) If the customer does not modify the battery pack by himself, special technical personnel are required for further analysis.
